03 / 19 Michael Perry and the Long Beds Start: 7:00 pm End: 9:00 pm Author, humorist and songwriter Michael Perry presents an evening of words and music. After opening the show with a passel of heartfelt (and often hilarious) stories drawn from his books (including, "Coop-A Year of Poultry,Pigs and Parenting," "Truck: A Love Story," and "Population 485") Perry will take the stage with his band the Long Beds for a lively performance of original "roughneck folk" songs. Michael's books and CDs will be available for sale and signing. He will sign at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place at St. Cecilia's Theatre at Cotter High School, starting at 7:00pm (doors will open at 6:30pm) and lasting about 2 hours. Michael will tell us some hillarious stories for about 50 minutes, with a 10 minute intermission, and then the band will perform for an hour. Michael will autograph books at the end of the performance. Tickets are $15 each and are VERY LIMITED. *Tickets will be on sale beginning February 22nd here at The Book Shelf*.
