Dinner with the Author: Larry Watson

Well, it has been quite some time since Larry had a new novel.  His previous two novels, "Montana 1948" and "Orchard" were two of my

 original Staff Picks when I opened the store nearly 10 years ago.  Our invitation to Larry and his wife to join us for dinner was the impetus for a trip to Minnesota, and we are so honored to have him join us for what will be the final "Dinner with the Author" event for 2011.  We are also not suprised that Esquire Magazine has just announced that "American Boy," Larry's newest novel has been listed among their Top 10 Books of 2011.

Note:  This event will be a definite sell out.  If you are interested in attending, please reserve your seats today. 

 

About the Event:

Our "Dinner with the Author" events include a first class, four course meal.  Our guest of honor will act as the evening's entertainment, and will read and discuss his new book, "American Boy."  An autographing session will follow the meal.   $35.00 or $50.00 with wine

Starter:  Smoked Whitefish on Rye

Salad:  Danish Blue Cheese Salad

Entree:  Scandinavian Meatballs served with Potatoes and Gravy

Dessert:  To be announced  (don't worry....it will be yummy)
